Australia – Industrial action

The designated operator of Australia, Australia Post, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that industrial action by Qantas ground workers is scheduled for 28 and 29 October 2026.

As Australia Post uses Qantas freighters to move mail within the country after receipt at the office of exchange, this action will affect domestic mail flows and the inbound and outbound movement of international mail throughout Australia. Consequently, delivery delays are to be expected.
